ARCOS will present a satellite project of Sidra Bell’s award-winning MODULE (Movement Observed During Unique Laboratory Experiments) January 16–19, 2020 in Austin, Texas. MODULE is a movement laboratory for advanced and professional artists that focuses on creative communities, dialogue, and physical research.
How do dance artists allow our practice to develop as we mature? What tools might better serve us as we find new relationships to our bodies, our art form, and our communities? We will explore these questions together in the studio.
Priority will be given to applicants with active independent or freelance activities who are not currently enrolled in a university-level dance program or training equivalent. Students over 18 demonstrating an advanced or professional practice are also encouraged to apply and will be accepted as space allows.
